Khao Pang
This site has been used for 2 competitions. Suitable for novice pilots with good area to take-off but slightly tight landing. Having 2 take-offs khao-Pang can offers consistent flying, only problem being transportation. In Chumphon you can hire mopeds for as little as baht 200 per day to drive up the hill. The road is supposed to be serviced by channel 7 but is in very bad condition. There is a regular train service to Chumphon. Best seats are the 2nd class AC sleepers. Try and get the bottom bunk.
